The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
